500 Startups Batch 13 Demo Day

500 Startups presented 30 seed and 12 post-seed companies at the Batch 13 Demo Day at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View earlier today to an audience of 750+ venture capital and angel investors. We really enjoyed the remarks of Heidi Roizen, Operating Partner of DFJ on the venture services and support that they provide to their portfolio.

Our favorite company from this batch was GlamST, an image processing makeup application that helps retailers and beauty brands provide a customized experience to their customers allowing women to virtually try on makeup. The technology involves face recognition and image processing algorithms. Its multiplatform and cloud technology has more than 100 filters for virtual makeup applications.
