Portfolio Company Update: TranscribeMe!

We participate as members in Keiretsu Forum, a global angel investment network and we were very pleased to provide an update today on the progress of our portfolio company TranscribeMe!

TranscribeMe! is the leader in high quality voice to text services, providing fast and affordable transcriptions across a wide range of markets. The company’s key invention is a micro-tasking model that uses proprietary software to divide audio into pieces allowing speech recognition algorithms to be combined with a network of crowd-sourced workers.

A theme in our investments is the component of artificial intelligence and machine learning. The initial pass of a TranscribeMe! transcription is automated and the human transcribers provide corrections that feedback to improve the algorithm. This continuously improves output, lowers costs and creates making a highly scalable company.
