SF Elevator Pitch - September 2015

The September SF Elevator Pitch featured seven startups that presented to a panel of four angel investors and an international audience of 80 entrepreneurs at the Runway co-working space in San Francisco. Our favorite from this presenter lineup was HashPlay, a platform that turns virtual reality gaming into a lucrative spectator sport.

eSports refers to professional video game competitions. According to an eSports Market Brief published in May 2015 by SuperData Research, eSports is a $612M global market with over 134 million global audience. Investment in innovative business models, platforms and derivative businesses further spurs growth in competitive gaming.
