Angel Investing in the North Bay
Today we attended the North Bay Keiretsu Forum meeting in Tiburon where 6 companies presented to 40 angel investors. One of the aspects that attracted us to Keiretsu Forum is the diverse deal flow and opportunity to attend any of the four Bay Area meetings where the same companies present to the members of Keiretsu Forum’s North Bay, San Francisco, East Bay and Silicon Valley chapters. At today’s meeting we heard presentations from:
Ninja Metrics, a social analytics engine that uses predictive analytics and automated social graph analysis to help companies identify, understand, monetize and keep their most valuable, influenceable and influential customers
Plum, a cloud-based hiring platform
Invictus Medical Inc who is commercializing an extra-cranial pressure relief medical device designed to prevent cranial defects
Reel Sonar, a fish finder that interacts with mobile smart devices
LYNK Capital, a private equity fund that makes principal investments in real estate and offers bridge lending secured by real estate collateral in first lien positon
Woven Orthopedics, a healthcare company that leverages advances in smart engineered fabric materials and methodologies for the neuro-musculoskeletal industry
