500 Startups Batch 14 Demo-Ween

500 Startups presented today its 14th batch of companies at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. At the “Demo-Ween” 34 early-stage and 9 post-seed companies presented in front of a room filled with investors for a chance to receive funding.

One of our favorite companies was BetterView, a San Francisco-based startup that provides a service that uses a network of drone operators across the United States to inspect properties for potential roof problems. BetterView says it can get multiple roofing quotes without a single person stepping foot on the roof by utilizing photo surveys done by drones.
